GEOPHYSICS AND SPACE DATA BULLETIN NUMBER 1.

Abstract

A large amount of geophysics and space data is being collected, much of it on a routine basis, by AFCRL and associated contractors in the normal course of research work. Although the analysis and interpretation of these data are primarily the responsibility of the scientists concerned, the data are also often useful as auxiliary data for those who wish to make analyses of special geophysical events such as occurred in November 1960 or September 1963. Because of this potential usefulness, it was decided to consolidate these data within a publication that will be issued periodically. This bulletin, a first attempt to provide such information, is a compilation of both reduced and raw data that were voluntarily given by AFCRL contractors and in-house scientists. Topics included in this bulletin are: Component magnetometer, cosmic ray neutron intensity monitor, oblique backscatter radar, riometer, and solar radio emission--spectral observations.
