A BRIEF REVIEW OF INVENTORY THEORY,

Abstract

This paper describes the current status of inventory theory by summarizing the main results that have been obtained in the subject, particularly in the last few years. Deterministic inventory models and probabilistic models are considered, we shall also distinguish and distinctions are made between the one-period and the N-period models. The implications of the result for the user of inventory theory are stressed.
