ON THE INTERACTION OF HEXAALKYLDISILAZANES WITH CARBOXYLIC ACIDS AND DIATOMIC PHENOLS,

Abstract

It was shown that hexaalkyldisilazane reacts with sasaturated monobasic acids, forming complex organosilicon esters and ammonia salts. Dibasic acids react with hexaalkyldisilazanes with the evolution of ammonia and the formation of complex organosilicon esters. In the cleavage of hexaalkyldisilazanes by dihydric phenols, ammonia is evolved and bis-(trialkylsiloxy)benzenes are formed. (Author)
