RECENT APPLICATIONS OF RADIOISOTOPES,
Abstract
This Technical Note summarizes applications found during a literature search which are suitable for Naval use. Prime emphasis has been placed on determining those applications suitable for field applications. Secondary consideration is given to research applications. Specifically excluded from this report is the application of radioisotopes to space heating. During the literature search, applications were sought which would reduce costs, improve efficiency and quality control, and open new fields for the Naval Shore Establishment. (Author)
