BEHAVIOR OF STEEL DURING PULSATING LOADING BEYOND THE LIMIT OF FLUIDITY,

Abstract

Pulsating loading significantly increases the deformability of materials. A pulsating load significantly lowers the forces necessary for deformation of materials. Frequency has an influence on the magnitude of deformability of steel. Deformability of steel depends both on the composition of the material, and also on its original structure.
