A LINEAR DIOPHANTINE PROBLEM,

Abstract

Given a relatively prime set of integers a sub 1, a sub 2, a sub 3, the author finds the largest integer B not represented in the form xa sub 1 + ya sub 2 + za sub 3, for positive integers x, y, z. In doing so, several relations are developed which may be of interest in themselves. (Author)
