THE LIKELIHOOD RATIO FILTER FOR THE DETECTION OF GAUSSIAN SIGNALS IN WHITE NOISE,

Abstract

In the design of fillters of a type that is used in radar and communication circuits a certain integral equation arises. The present Memorandum applies a technique developed earlier by T. W. Mullikin to the solution of this equation. It should be of interest to mathematicians and engineers concerned with filter design. (Author)
