FEDERAL SPENDING FOR NATIONAL SECURITY,

Abstract

Seven factors which can be expected to influence current and future trends in Federal spending for national security purposes are listed and discussed. The list is illustrative rather than exhaustive, but it is sufficiently complete to show that the level of expenditures is determined by a wide variety of causal factors.
