SALVAGING AND RESTORING RECORDS DAMAGED BY FIRE AND WATER.

Abstract

This document describes several simple readily applied means of salvaging records damaged by fire and water. Elaborate technical methods of repair and rehabilitation of archives or library material are not described here. The steps outlined are for those individuals who are called upon to restore office files for the immediate resumption of every day operations.
