RADAR VISIBILITY OF MARINE OBJECTS,
Abstract
In this book, in an accessible form are expounded certain contemporary methods of calculating the field of secondary radiation of different bodies and surfaces. The main attention will be allotted to the conclusions of calculating formulas, necessary in the engineering practice. On the basis of the theory of Academician V. A. Fok a method is expounded for calculating the field of the secondary radiation of marine objects. Tables and nomographs aree listed,,deted, simplifying the caalculations of the disstance of their radar visibility taking into account the curvature of the earth. Experimental methods are considered for measuring the fields of the secondary radiation. The book is intended for engineers, working in the area of ship radar. It can be useful to students in advanced courses at radar institutes, and radio-physics specialists. (Author)
