THE ABSOLUTE BRIGHTNESS VALUES OF THE LUNAR EDGE AT VARIOUS PHASES,

Abstract

The light limb of a lunar disk used as a brightness standard during absolute surface photometry of other expansive objects, particularly for noctilucent clouds, is presented by expressing this brightness as a function of the phase angle.
