INVESTIGATION OF ABSORPTION AND RE-EMISSION OF OXIDE CRYSTALS CONTAINING DISSIMILAR FOREIGN IONS.
Abstract
Absorption spectra, as well as activation and fluorescence spectra, of corundum single crystals doped with chromium alone, vanadium alone, and chromium plus vanadium, are presented. The fluorescence of Benitoite at room temperature and at - 190C was measured; the results are also contained and discussed in the report. (Author)
