PERSONNEL RESTRAINT SYSTEM STUDY, CV-2 DEHAVILLAND CARIBOU.

Abstract

The report presents detailed suggestions for the improvement of the personnel restraint system in the U. S. Army CV-2 aircraft. The suggestions pertain primarily to strengthening existing restraint system components rather than to a basic change of the system. The modifications presented indicate an increased strength of the crew seats from 20-25G to 35-40G, and of the lap-belt anchorages for the troop seats from 12-15G to 22-28G. (Author)
