PRODUCTION ENGINEERING MEASURE FOR A KABAND INVERTED COAXIAL MAGNETRON.

Abstract

During this report period, eight model tubes were built and evaluated. Extensive investigations were performed to determine the cause of poor high frequency operation on current model tubes. The area of difficulty seems to be in anode mode competition but this has not yet been fully substantiated. An improved thermal design tube has been built which meets all of the temperature requirements. (Author)
