ON SOME DOUBLE ORTHOGONALITY PROPERTIES OF THE SPHEROIDAL AND MATHIEU FUNCTIONS.
Abstract
The spheroidal and Mathieu functions were shown to form complete orthogonal sets over two separate intervals simultaneously. The normalization factors over each of these two intervals, (-1,1) and (- infinity, infinity), were derived. (Author)
