THE COMMUNISM BUILDUP AND THE SOCIAL SCIENCES,

Abstract

The general meeting of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, held on the 19th and 20th of October of 1962 in Moscow, was devoted to problems in the development of the social sciences and conditions of unfolding buildup of communism. It was said that, the twenty-second session and the Party program raise the theory of scientific communism to a new level. The highest mission and main task of the activities of Soviet science, it was said, are actively to participate in the creation of a new society and to aid the Party in the creative development and propaganda of Marxian-Leninian science, the vital basis of the Soviet structure.
