INCREASE IN THE RATE OF CONDENSATION IN AN ELECTRIC FIELD IN PRESENCE OF IONS,

Abstract

Described are experiments on the condensation of water vapors into solid state upon introduction of ions into the condensator with simultaneous imposition of an electric field. It is shown, that the rate of condensation depends upon the pressure of the noncondensing gas, intensity of the electric field and amperage in the discharge.
