TRANSIENT SYNTHESIZER FEASIBILITY STUDY (PHASE I).

Abstract

The report covers a design study effort by General Electric to determine the various mechanical and electrical components necessary to build a transient voltage synthesizer. The synthesizer would be designed to provide variations in the frequency and amplitude of a 60 cycle wave form. The synthesizer would also superimpose a 1,000 volt spike on the wave form for testing.
