A ONE-DIMENSIONAL ANALYSIS OF DUCTED SILOS AND A METHOD OF SCALING MODEL TEST DATA OF AIR ENTRAINMENT RATIO TO FULL SCALE,

Abstract

Equations for the analysis of flow through ducted silos are presented. A method of scaling the sub-scale model test data of air entrainment ratio to full scale is indicated. Other known methods are also mentioned, and their merits discussed. (Author)
