INVESTIGATION OF TUNNEL DIODE AMPLIFIERS AS A PSEUDO PASSIVE UNIT,

Abstract

The report covers the integration of a stripline tunnel diode reflection amplifier and spiral antenna. The characteristics of the individual amplifiers, such as gain, bandwidth, saturation limits and physical construction, are included. Theoretical and experimental characteristics of a three-element pseudo-passive array are also given. Criteria for construction of a pseudo-passive unit are developed. (Author)
