INVESTIGATION OF CRYSTAL GROWTH OF PURE AND DOPED METAL OXIDES.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to investigate the growth and some physical properties of spinel crystals as a function of stoichiometry. Both pure and Cr3+ doped spinels were to be studied. Since there were considerable problems associated with the growth and chemical analysis of these crystals, this research was restricted to determining growth conditions and analytical methods.
