THE TRANSISTOR TETRODE AS A VARIABLE GAIN COMPRESSIVE DEVICE.

Abstract

The transistor tetrode provides a new approach to variable gain in semiconductors. Present manufacturing standards do not provide a sufficient degree of uniformity to permit design of circuits without investigation of specific units. Tetrode gain characteristics are defined and investigated and practical examples given. (Author)
