PRODUCTION ENGINEERING MEASURE FOR VOLTAGE-TUNABLE MAGNETRONS.

Abstract

A summary of the problems encountered during the preproduction run is stated. Cumulative yield percentages obtained at the various basic tube subassembly stages are given. Production of ZM-6104 packages, which was limited by the inability of the packages to meet the specification's minimum anode voltage caused by the low flux density level of the magnets, is described in detail. Conclusions for the detailed vibration testing of the tubes are given. Results in the quality-control area are stated. (Author)
