TWO MORE TRACKING TECHNIQUES,

Abstract

Mathematical expressions are presented for computing trajectory parameters which are to be modified in the light of new data obtained during the course of tracking (missiles and space vehicles). Linear approximations are made and expressions are minimized and solutions to equations are presented for the following variations: adding more data, shifting parameters, shifting times, and shifting coordinate systems.
