ADAPTIVE SEGMENTAL DIFFERENTIAL APPROXIMATION

Abstract

An important new method was considered for solving the 'inverse problem' of identifying the nature of black boxes from their outputs. When the box is known to have differential characterizations of known parametric types, where the values of the parameters are unknown, the method is exact and computationally economical.
