A MATHEMATICAL MODEL FOR SATELLITE TRAJECTORIES SIMULATION,

Abstract

This paper describes the motions of a satellite from its youth, when its orbit is a well defined elipse and its sectorial speed nearly constant, to its old age when the trajectory spirals down and the perturbations become more apparent. This paper demonstrates how all the pertinent parameters may be displayed through the use of the basic functions cosine theta and exponential function of time h (t, theta). (Author)
