AN APPARATUS FOR OBTAINING PLASMA AND STUDYING ITS PROPERTIES,

Abstract

Described is an electric arc stabilized by means of cooled copper walls. Consideration is given to some characteristics of an arc in the presence of activity on argon, including evidence that with currents of the order of 50 - 60 a, temperatures on the axis of discharge reach 11000-12000 degrees Kelvin.
