WIDTH OF LINES, EMITTED BY LASER MODELS,

Abstract

The investigation of the stationary condition of a laser is approached by considering the state of the electromagnetic field as a collection of accurate normal oscillations. Solutions of Maxwell equations with approximate boundary conditions correspond to the precise resonator modes. This method offers the possibility of considering the effect of line narrowing.
