A GRAPHICAL PROCEDURE FOR RELATING THE PERVEANCE AND POWER CHARACTERISTICS OF MICROWAVE TUBES,

Abstract

A convenient, graphical method of determining important inter-related microwave tube parameters, such as power output, efficiency, perveance, current, and voltage, is pre sented. Pertinent tube characteristics are plotted on three overlapping, logarithm graphs, which offer a rapid, straightforward means of finding the desired parameters over a wide range of current, voltage, and power. The operational procedure for using the graphs in solving for the variables of interest is demonstrated by three illustrative examples. (Author)
