Abstract

Characteristics of the chief radiation and circulation factors, general characteristics of climate of Eastern Siberia and a description of its individual elements (temperture, humidity, wind conditions, etc.) are contained in the report. In addition, the role of the underlying surface in creating the climate is pointed out and a climatic description of individual physicogeographic regions is given. The information is intended for scientific workers and specialists in the fields of climatology, geography, and agriculture as well as for school teachers, and students of higher educational institutions.
