TEST OF AUDIO-VISUAL INFORMATION SYSTEM (A-VIS).

Abstract

This is the final report of a test of the relative effectiveness of an Audio-Visual Information System, when compared to standard technical manuals as a maintenance aid. The test was conducted by the NIKE X Engineering/Service Test Operation, White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico, during the period 18 May 1964 through 23 June 1964. The test was conducted at the request of NIKE X Project Office, AMC. The responsibility of the testing agency consisted of complete conduct, direction, and assistance to the contractor in preparation for the test. Due to the large amount of data collected and the nature of the findings, it is not feasible to attempt to summarize the findings, conclusions, and/or recommendations within the abstract. (Author)
