JOINT OSCILLATIONS IN GAS TURBINE ENGINES,

Abstract

Consideration is given to questions of the calculation of critical rpm and resonance regimes of engines, the rigidity of the body of which is commensurable with, or less than, the rigidity of the rotor, which is frequently encountered in practice of aircraft engine design. Considered are joint oscillations of the revolving shaft of an engine on pliant supports with a pliant body. Solution is carried out by the method of dynamic compliance. Considered is an example of design of a gas-turbine engine. (Author)
