PRODUCTION ENGINEERING MEASURE FOR CERAMIC FILTERS.
Abstract
Problems encountered in pressing 1.75 Mc radially resonant disks having raised centers for electrical contact and mechanical support are discussed. The solutions to these problems are also discussed. Difficulties that developed in applying the new electroding technique to thin ceramic disks are discussed. The solution to these difficulties are included in the discussion. A new tumble grinding technique is presented which appears to meet the requirement for a low cost ceramic disk tuning method. (Author)
