LARGE SCALE FLUCTUATIONS OF THE IONOSPHERE.

Abstract

By statistics based on ionogram data of three European stations amplitudes and quasi-periods of the fluctuations and their directions are determined. Different periods of the day, seasons and in-or de-creasing changes are treated separately. The oscillations found tend to produce higher electron density during downwards movement. (Author)
