FURTHER INVESTIGATIONS OF NUMERICAL MODELS OF THE ATMOSPHERE BOUNDARY LAYER; SUPPLEMENT. PROGRAM DESCRIPTIONS.

Abstract

The programs discussed in this write-up are an extension and integration of the programs developed under the U. S. Weather Bureau contract Cwb-10368. The Heat Balance and the Diffusion Model Programs of that report have been combined to run as one program, which will be referred to as Merge I in this report, from data supplied on magnetic tape and punched cards. The Data Generation Program generates on tape six hours of data for diffusion model equations with one minute time steps and the data input necessary for the heat balance equations. The tape is input to Merge I, as the cards produced by the Data Generation Program were input to the Diffusion Model Program.
