INVESTIGATIONS OF AMERICAN TROPICAL AND SUBTROPICAL SEAS.

Abstract

The investigation consisted of a common serial observation program for temperature, salinity, oxygen, inorganic phosphate-phosphorous, oblique plankton tows, carbon-14, light and microbiomass measurements, nightlight stations and bathymetry in the area from Nassau to Dakar between 15 degrees N and 15 degrees S along 20 degrees W; from 15 degrees S to Recife; from Recife to 2 degrees S-17 degrees W; and from 2 degrees N - 17 degrees W to Dakar.
