A TMB MEAN LINE SERIES TO DELAY CAVITATION INCEPTION,

Abstract

The derivation of a generalized mean line series, designated as the TMB 'c' mean lines is presented. This series is designed to delay cavitation inception on propeller blades. Included are figures showing the relationship between the ideal angle of attack and the parameters which compose the mean line equations, and examples of various 'c' mean lines. (Author)
