ON SAMPLED DATA FEEDBACK CONTROL.

Abstract

In this paper, special types of random functions are considered as the output of the manufacturing process without control. These outputs characterize the manufacturing processes to be controlled. The observation of output is restricted to a systematic sampling and the observed values are fed back to control the manufacturing process. Also, the dead time between the observation and the corresponding reaction of control is taken into account. Three types of control procedure, the proportional control, the integral control and a mixture of both are discussed.
