THE ECOLOGICAL COMPLEX IN EXTRATERRESTRIAL BASES,

Abstract

Several desirable requirements for life-support systems in extra-terrestrial bases are discussed: high reliability, minimum weight transported from Earth, ease of installation and maintenance, effective conversion of metabolic waste products, and maximum use of indigenous supplies and materials.
