GENERAL MODEL FOR A SEMI-INFINITE TRANSMISSION LINE WITH MUTUAL INDUCTANCE,

Abstract

Equations are formulated for a transmission line in which mutual inductance effects are important. For a semi-infinite line the equations are of a generalized Wiener-Hopf type. The techniques necessary to solve problems associated with such a line are developed. The principal result of the paper is an integral representation for the solution of the equations corresponding to prescribed initial conditions and a given terminating impedance. (Author)
