INSTRUMENT FOR RELATIVE MEASUREMENTS OF THE ACCELERATION OF THE FORCE OF GRAVITY,

Abstract

The object of the invention is an instrument for relative measurements of the accelerations of the force of gravity by means of non attenuating oscillations of pendulums on elastic suspensions with the center of gravity lower than their axis of rotation, which is distinguished by the fact that for the purpose of decreasing the unsteadiness of the stand and increasing the precision of the measurements it is provided with a mechanism for fastening with a metallic frame or fittings mounted in a stone monolith and rigidly fastened with an elastic suspension of the pendulum in a plane.
