PERFLUORINATED AROMATICS IN THE INFRARED REGION 1600 TO 700/CM.

Abstract

The question of how useful the infrared region 1600 to 700/cm is for perfluorinated aromatics has not been examined to any great extent. The report studies the absorption spectra of some 50 perfluorinated aromatic derivatives in this region to determine if any analytical characteristic frequencies are present. In general, the region can be of value to the spectroscopist if this data is used with care. (Author)
