INTEGRATION ORBITS FOR SATELLITES,

Abstract

The differential equations of motion of a rigid body in the earth's gravity field and atmosphere are discussed and a method for their solution by numerical integration given. Also considered are algorithms for the mechanical syntheses of differential and integral equations, with the intention of eventually mechanizing the mathematics as well as the computation of such problems. There are numerous and extensive tables of function and coefficients included. (Author)
