IMPROVED METALLOGRAPHY FOR TIC AND TIC-C ALLOYS,

Abstract

A new metallographic method for improved microscopy of TiC and alloys of TiC-C is described. The complete processing recommendations for sectioning, grinding, intermediate and final polishing, as well as anodization to produce definitive microstructures in color are included along with some photographic suggestions.
