INVESTIGATION OF IONOSPHERIC AND TROPOSPHERIC NOISE.

Abstract

Construction of nearly all the ionospheric measurement equipment has been completed. Preliminary testing indicated that successful operation of the equipment can be expected. Some improvements, particularly the receiver noise figure, are needed. Plans have been made to conduct a demonstration of the equipment early in January 1958. The equipment will be moved to Florida during February 1958. (Author)
