THE ROLE OF ALUMINUM AND ITS OXIDES IN SOLID PROPELLANTS.

Abstract

Design of a laboratory experiment to investigate the role of aluminum and its oxides as sources or moderators of electrons in rocket exhausts was completed. Electron concentrations in equilibrium with particles will be studied by means of a microwave method. A more detailed study of the theory of electron concentration in high temperature gas-particle mixtures was initiated. Work has just started on the theory of A. C. conductivity of these plasmas.
