DEVELOPMENT OF A UHF POWER TRANSISTOR.
Abstract
The main effort was directed toward cost reduction. Additional work was done in the areas of device design, reliability testing and device applications. The device design was modified to incorporate: smaller pellets (50 mils to 30 mils), the use of a special TO-5 package and aluminum lead wires. In the area of reliability testing, storage life tests at 80C and 95 percent relative humidity, 150C and 200C were initiated. Test results are not yet available. The design of two 500mc oscillator test circuits was completed.
