THERMODYNAMIC PROPERTIES OF CARBONNITROGEN MIXTURES AT HIGH TEMPERATURES.

Abstract

For the system carbon (graphite) and nitrogen, equilibrium composition and thermodynamic properties have been calculated using spectroscopic data. Enthalpy, constant pressure heat capacity (frozen and equilibrium), entropy, and compressibility values are tabulated over the temperature range 1000 to 15000 K and pressure range from 10 to minus 3rd power to 100 atmospheres. Enthalpy-composition charts have been prepared for the same regions. (Author)
