ON STABILITY CRITERIA OF EXPLICIT DIFFERENCE SCHEMES FOR CERTAIN HEAT CONDUCTION PROBLEMS WITH UNCOMMON BOUNDARY CONDITIONS.

Abstract

It is shown that the stability criteria for the explicit and implicit schemes appropriate to the differential equations governing the flow of heat and the vibration in a cylinder and sphere are identical with those derived for a slab. (Author)
