ELECTRONICALLY FUNCTIONAL ORGANIC MATERIALS.

Abstract

The syntheses of fourteen compounds based of ferrocene, nickelocene, and cyclopentadiene are described. The infrared spectra for these compounds are shown. Con ductivity and electron spin resonance absorption measurements performed on these and twelve other compounds obtained from external sources indicate poor electronic activity for most of these materials. The application of these compounds and organic compounds in general as active elements in electronic devices is discussed. (Author)
